Otherwise known as the South Cerney Show, We’ve camped here for the long weekend for a few years now and it looks like I’ll be organising a Scimitar stand for next year. I find it’s a great show with an eclectic mix of vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, tractors, military, motorbikes, pushbikes, etc), animals (racing ferrets, horses, falcons, dogs, sheep, etc) and steam (traction, stationary, working sawmill and working steam fun fair) - oh, and there’s a bar Heres a few of the rarer cars and bikes I papped (apologies, just i-potato shots) - auto union/DKW must have had an event on, as there were dozens of them from all over Europe. I think this is a TF despite the lack of “spotlights” A rare auto MGC One for @grumpynorthener This was just stunning One owner mk1 spit

I was coming back from Staffordshire yesterday and hit the A419 at about 6pm, saw a lot of people obviously leaving, lorries, a few classics etc plus a magnificent traction engine on a low loader.

I had to look up that DKW Schnellaster as I'd never seen one before, fantastic! 0.9 litre 9-seater!! (I'm guessing it doesn't drag too well?) Good line up, great pics!

I didn't realise there were that many DKW/Auto Union's around until we saw them all lined up in the ring.
Nice to see a photo of our friend's triumph estate beside another friends dolomite. Both completed the round Britain this year. The dolomite has now done it 3 times.
Always a good show and a nice day out or weekend. We had a Land rover and Unipower ballast tractor there. Plus Diamond T tank transporter and Marcos in our group.

Nice to see a photo of our friend's triumph estate beside another friends dolomite. Were you stood next to me on Friday when I took the picture (and commented that your friend would be amazed)? I briefly had one in burgundy, fantastic motor

Uploading those photos to the forum was an absolute nightmare that took ages with dozens of failed attempts - just realised I missed off one of my favourite cars there:

Spotted many DKW / Auto Union etc cars heading out of Dover ferry terminal on Thursday afternoon. Wondered where they were going / nice to spot such an amount of these cars in UK.

I used to walk past the Skoda with the 999 registration in a garden on my way to/ from work- would shuffle around occasionally but I never saw it move. Good to see it out in the world!
Green Invader lived just up the road from it, seem to remember it has a Vauxhall V6 in it.
Manky Triumph is mine by the way. I was cheerfully getting covered in coal dust and steam oil for most of the weekend.
