I see some seriously early iron there!! Jim & Betty Flynn started this business in the early '50s, their family still 'runs' it. Goodness knows how they've stayed afloat as they seem to have hoarded everything they've ever taken in rather than processing it. If they started in the '50s I'd guess some of the earliest vehicles might date back to the '30s? There must be some very rare stuff buried in this hoard!

What are those waggons in the second picture, anyone know please? They look cool!
I hope there's a video tour or many more pictures of this place as it looks a treasure trove.

Cooma is only a small town, I reckon if anyone in the area has scrapped a car in the past 60 years it's still there waiting to be bought back. The earliest vehicles are 1920's. 1922 International Truck by Graham Opie, on Flickr

Phwoar!
I wonder if I'd get namesake discount.
It looks like the sort of place I could spend days just wandering round.

I just spotted the Valiant line up...I think i need to go for a lay down.
If its anything like the yards i visited then red back spiders whilst removing parts are the biggest hazard, if you make enough noise the snakes stay out of the way.

My uncle emigrated to Oz in the early 70's, he used to say if you saw a spider you killed it first and then worked out what it was π¬

Here's a little redback - casually crawling over my work bench in semi suburbia. I find the main thing to watch out for at the wreckers here is wasps
