Thank you to those that have commented on my P6. Its a Marmite car...you either love it or hate it, I can live with that! The grill is known as a 'sharks tooth' grill and was used only for 2 years, I thought it was butt ugly, and it had to go, but it seemed wrong to part it from where it had sat for 55 years!, and now it's grown on me! I absolutely bloody love it personally. Somebody needs to write car movie for this thing to star in.

I've got a few questions.... 1. Front indicators. Presumably now next to the headlights inside the eye slit. Is there an issue with them not being as prominent as they once were in terms of legality/MOT ability? 2. The doors... just how thick are they now and do they still all open and close with ease? Did you have to rethink the door hinges completely to get those to work? (I'm working on the assumption that the original doors are 'padded out' with new skins creating a very thick overall depth. If the insides of the doors now follow the exterior contours there'd be enough room at the outisde of the front seats to actually climb out and walk to the back seat ) 3. The P6 bonnet/hood has always intrigued me because it starts off sitting on top of the wings and then somehow switches over to end up down between the wings at the front. I've never had a really good look at how that happens with a bonnet up to see the magic, but I've always imagined that might be quite a complicated area for the car and therefore a bit of a nightmare to water-seal. Was any of what you've done a massive headache in terms of the bonnet still working in much the same way (it appears to still be much the same). 4. How much wider than a stock P6 is it now? Does it look insane parked next to one (any pics?) 5. Those wheels. THOSE WHEELS. WHAAAT? 6. Definitely wasn't a V8 though from the sound of it. Judging by what's left of the bonnet/hood, I'd guess this is a 1969 2000SC. AM I RIGHT? AM I RIGHT? HUH? AMIRIGHT?

I had a skim through the build thread yesterday but you have to register to thesite and be logged in to look at all pics. I'm amazed it's only 12" wider. It looks so much more beefed out than that! Anyway, it's ruddy great. Best thing I've seen in a long time personally.

This car has such a mean look to the front. The hours that have gone into this build, thought and design is superb. Already won best Custom at a recent show! Well deserved!
