Well i've really enjoyed this last series albeit a bit short. The banter is good and the 3 presenters seem to have got together well. There is a good mix of hoofing about as well as some serious car stuff.
I just hope some lessons are learnt from the last few years where the edge of the envelope isn't pushed and pushed so much it's just wrong. In the past you got the feeling things were going too far in pursuit of entertainment, and too many decent cars were getting wrecked. The show should be a celebration of cars, especially the ordinary ones everyone loves.
But this series has made me laugh and look forward to Sunday nights, and more to the point my Mrs really enjoyed it, which means it has appealed to all and i get away with watching it.

What? The season is over already? What is that... five episodes? I haven't watched the last few but I plan to when I get a moment. Seems like a ridiculously short run to me if its finished already though. Season was short because of LeBlanc leaving prematurely - basically last season was short so they rushed the new lineup into essentially a mini half-a-series to take up the slack. Next one will be back to around 8 -10 episodes.

Glad to hear scmick hopefully it’s changed peoples options of the Allegro too, but somehow I doubt it. 😂

Glad to hear scmick hopefully it’s changed peoples options of the Allegro too, but somehow I doubt it. 😂 ive always liked the allegro... i remember my great uncle buying a new harvest gold 4 door on a "n" reg to replace his rather old fashioned wolsley 1500...which if i recall my mum ran for a short while afterwards. not sure why but the equipe always caught my eye...perhaps I'm just a sucker for lairy graphics! either way they always got a bit of a bum rap really. never actually driven one but that cant be any worse than a 1300 and they were ok...i bought a gt off a no-soaper hippy and unknown to me the rear subframe wasnt attached to the rest of the car in any meaningful way....and he had just driven it back from spain but it drove ok...ish!! oh the 80's were fun!!

He did buy at and is getting it fully restored. I spoke to him about it a couple of weeks ago. At the time it hadn’t been brought back yet, not sure if it has by now.

I enjoyed the Christmas special. It's a bit reminiscent of stuff from the previous line-up, the narrow roads and sheer drops in particular, but it was watchable and funny. Whether I'd watch a repeat of it in ten years time like I would with the previous ones is another thing entirely.

I personally love the show and the line up, I actually prefer it to Hammond, Clarkson and May... I find the new lineup more relatable, I still like jezza and the gang but these guys are just better imo

Can but imagine the amount of work that went into the risk assessment alone for the bungee stunt!

Ah didn’t realise it was on last night. Me either & my sky box seems to have taken the "forget all your series links" approach to life atm.

They work very well together and very funny. Big respect for Flintoff , I don't like heights and would not even sit in the crane never mind the Metro

I like that they've brought the fun back into it. Harris and Flintoff wrestling in the mud and throwing it at each other was strangely hilarious to me.
