While visiting the cafe belonging to Geordie, also of this parish, LadySE and I went for a brief trot with FurrySE. We saw what looked like, and registration comes back as, a red Daihatsu Coren... But with a white classic Mini front end grafted on... And I think the rear chrome bumper too. I was too slow to get my camera before it went off into the distance... Anyone local able to shed any light?

Be glad it wasn't this Thin Blob Still has more appeal that the fat blobs! Correct. Given how the fat blob turned out, we'd have had a Matiz-equivelant that went fast and handled well! I quite liked the above concept, imagine that with the supercharged-S engine and the RR lowering stick?

Walk up Coral Street in Saltburn and you will probably find where it came from. There were a few Daihatsu oddities parked up there, and a strange 4wd one that I couldn't decide if it was factory original.
