I bought this fine car a few months ago and it has served me very well. Due to the purchase of a stupidly cheap hybrid, unfortunately this needs to go. Being the executive model it's got a great spec - full cow, air con, electric seats and even a trip computer. Everything works too - the air con is cold and the bum warmers are toasty.
Externally it's a bit tatty - spot of rust on the bonnet, some lacquer peel and a small dent in the O/S/F wing. Inside it's perfectly presentable for the age - the driver's seat is worn and the bolster is a bit ripped but otherwise all ok.
Since I've had it, I've had an online remap with EGR delete from HDI Tuning (specialists in remapping HDI engines, I've used them on a few of my Xantias in the past and also have one in my van). This can be put back to normal if required, plus I can provide the original file too if it needs to be put back to standard in the future. Engine, gearbox and clutch generally all good.
There's a small amount of history with the car. A sticker under the bonnet claims that the cambelt was done around 74k. I think these have 80k cambelt intervals so no worries there.
The only downside is very occasionally the engine light comes on and it goes into limp home mode. Stopping the car for 30 seconds and restarting solves this problem, although the light tends to stay on for a day or so afterwards. The car is too old for a generic OBD reader and I've tried PP2000 and it doesn't want to play ball. It has only done it 3 times since I've owned the car, and every time it was while going up a long A road incline in 5th gear.
The car is in Cambridge and I'm after £600. Apologies for the unwashed/un-valeted appearance - I'll try and get that sorted.
