When was the last time you saw one of these?!
Got this as a cheap to run winter hack last year, and it's done that job really well - seems to get over 50mpg no matter how you drive it.
MOT till 02/10/19
In the last year it has had;
- All filters replaced, including fuel
- All fluids, including gearbox
- New exhaust downpipe and gasket
- New clutch
- New glow plugs
- New front brakes
- Replacement right front lower arm and hub bearing
In other words, it's mechanically good and has lots of life in it, drives ok, front brakes a bit warped but works fine. But there are reasons it's so cheap;
- The paint is poor (it photographs much much better than it is!)
- There are scratches, bumps, dents etc. on basically every panel
- It has had a fair amount of welding underneath and is covered in surface rust (seems the vans didn't get the same body protection as hatches?)
- Front tyres will need replacing in the next few thousand miles, and all of them a of unknown brands.
- No radio fitted (wiring and speakers are there, just taken it out for my next car). Does have £20 of fuel in it, which will get it a surprisingly long way.
So if you want a cheap daily, a retro parts getter, or something just a bit different for RRG19, this could well fit the bill. Would look great with some 90's style sign writing.
£400 drop me a PM if you're interested.
