Hi, I'm selling a 1994 Jaguar XJ6 Sport 3.2 Auto, purchased last November on the beige forum
Good bits
98,500 miles.
MOT Expiry 27th April 2020, it has an advisory for "light corrosion on underbody" which I thought was extremely harsh, this is one of the cleanest XJ's I've ever seen.
4 matching relatively new tyres (bought around October last year) with very little wear
Drives excellently, autobox works faultlessly, steering feels great and the brakes are very responsive. No suspension noises etc
Interior and exterior in excellent condition, car has had a respray at somepoint in it's recent history.
Electrics all work, even the sunroof, which has zero leaks. No warning lamps illuminated
10 Litres of oil, air, fuel and oil filters and spark splugs in the boot which can go with the sale
Not so good bits
Small rust bleb on drivers side rear arch
Headlining slightly drooping at the rear passenger side, effects all Jags of this age. This is one of the better ones
Engine has small oil leak, doesn't drip
Very slight misfire sometimes at idle when cold
There is a slight vibration through the steering between 50-70mph, then smooths out once the speedo sits at 70-75. I had the wheel tracking done which definitely helped things, but didn't completely eradicate it. Steering items where checked at MOT time and everything was fine, so annoyingly I was never able to track the problem down.
And that's it. Lovely old car this, I've had so many nice comments from people when out with this thing, it's a fine example that drives really well. Located in Glasgow, £1000
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask or fire a PM. Thanks
