My old man drove Bedford TK lorries for the HMSO in London in the early 70s and tells me they were light years ahead of what came before them and better than the main rivals models That’s probably true, but a bit like saying a Lada is better than a Polski Fiat. Still both sh1t

Quite possibly, heres another I don't know where my heads at right now, but i want it back. These are just amazing, I think I might need one! years ago my old man bought a large caravan converted like these.... if the grey matter isn't deceiving me it ran mk10 jag running gear. it was a pretty surreal ride for sure! *thread title now amended to encompass ever increasing crazy range of camper creations!! bring 'em on.

Yes, the D had a tilting cab, giving good access to the engine, although at the expense of losing half the Luton's capacity. On the other hand, that wasn't a problem with the TK, although engine access was a little compromised, but we managed. However, in terms of driving, the TK was way, way nicer than the D.

That looks like the refrigerated trucks the butchers use in South Africa 😂😂 I really like this! Might be a sod to get in after a few pints though.

There was one of those at a car show in Eastbourne today, a South African import Jurgens auto villa, sadly I didn't take a picture as too many people were hovering around it.
Looks like someone just stuck a caravan onto a VW but it was awesome, there's a couple on eBay.

The Picasso one actually looks better than the base car (not difficult I suppose!).
