Looking to do a simple ignition system based on a Ford coil pack (4 HT leads ) with a crank sensor I take it there is a separate module to operate this system , i will be using a carb instead injection, From what i can make out without a diagram the module feeds signal to crank pick up which returns pulse to coil pack If anybody has a wiring diagram it will be greatly appreciated
Thanks Dave

You'll want the Ford's EDIS 4 module to power the Ford coilpack It'll run with just the EDIS module, coilpack and crank sensor on a suitable 36-1 trigger wheel but will be running on fixed timing with no advance. You'll need a separate aftermarket ecu to control the spark advance, the two main ones being Megajolt and Nodiz.

I had the megajolt / edis system on my old landrover, worked a treat once I wired the crank sensor the right way round.
Early ka is a great donor for all the parts.

As said above pretty much.
If it were me, I'd be going with a Nodiz box to run it. Ignition makes a pleasant difference.
