My acclaim is running a set of yamaha r6 throttle bodies which attach to the original accellerator cable using the bike quadrent the problem i have is the pedal is too sensative at comming off idlle and low openings. I guess i need to buy or make a new quadrent. anyone have any bright ideas. Dan

I normally just move the cable attachment on the pedal nearer the pivot point. The closer to the pivot the less cable movement for a given pedal movement.
First time i ran r1 carbs the pedal was far too sensitive and had a very short range of movement. I halved the distance from pivot to cable attachment and it transformed the cars drivability

Ive had another look and ill try moving the point at which the outer cable attaches, before making a new quadrent. Dan
