Fwiw, I bought a new rad for mine for 50 euro.
If you look up Brendon Moss, Dubstock, he'll have everything you need.

Whether you believe you can, or you cannot, you're probably right.

I have a radiator and maybe even a fan and cowl. I'll gladly swap it for a MK2 Gti fuel rail if you have one. I'll get some pictures tonight.

Thanks guys. The fan, fan cowl, switches and wiring are more important than the rad itself as the rads are available new for very reasonable money.
I want it all for the Triumph GT6 I'm restoring as the original rad needs re-coring, which is very expensive, and they are marginal even when all is working. The Mk2 Golf setup is a known and tested alternative that fits reasonably easily and gives improved cooling over standard.

Regret I can't offer you a fuel rail - haven't owned a Mk2 for about 9 years now and even our Mk3 has been gone about 5 years..... This is the car we're working on cheers Nick
