My local meet is at the Cock and Bottle, Morden, Dorset. First Monday of the month. It's in a field with a curse word of a ramp so anything loooow will be left hanging. If it's wet it can be difficult to get back out. I'm told a Goddess just shrugs this off

It’s difficult for us around the midlands now, due to years of street racing problems there is now a high court injunction in place for most of Birmingham, the Black Country and some of Staffordshire which bans any illegal street racing, anti social noise/driving, groups of cars gathering in a public place or driving in convoy plus some others.
This means even a well organised sensible meet could be in breach of the conditions and end up with your car impounded and points on your licence.

I'm pretty lucky - my local meets are Scotch Piper and North West casual classics, both within half hour of me. Both in top Practical Classic's top 10. (Although not been to nwcc for quite some time!)

Dubclub every Wednesday night in the summer at the tyre centre in Nuneaton. Strictly static meet with no misbehaving tolerated. Its good fun though, mainly German but all decent retros and classics are welcome.

This sounds dangerously close to a human rights violation.
