As the title really.
I’d like something fun for the summer, I’ve always wanted a kit car and thought I’d ask on here.
The only thing I’d like to request is that it is registered. SVA/IVA testing a vehicle of unknown origins seems like a bit of a minefield.
So provided it’s got a numberplate on it I’m insteredtwd in almost anything. Abandoned projects, things needing work, pretty much anything.
Is also like it on a budget. Which is certainly asking something.
If you have anything please PM me

Thank you both very much for the suggestions. However I missed out some important information in the original post.
I’m after a “Seven” style kit car. I’ll add these details in. Thanks for the suggestions though.

May also be worth adding if Weather gear is important - Location - Power - Brands - and lastly but most importantly what your actual target budget is. Sevens of any sort of quality do have a premium but people appear to like their Robin Hoods etc. I'm not one, I would have a Dutton over an RH any day of the week. Something like this - no mention of weather gear however. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Westfield-SEi-narrow-body/183743570517?hash=item2ac7f86255:g:z-sAAOSwaP5clMXe - £4500 would be a better price - rip out and sell the ford gear for ££££ and fit a much better Mazda 1.6/1.8 with a hairdrier. Rubbish listing as no tech content re 4 or 5 speed axle ratio's etc. etc. However if the budget is only £3000 then you are in Locost shodsville territory and better of with a cheap MX5 project for the summer

Thanks for the very detailed reply darkspeed.
After a good bit of thought and various offers I’m going to put a bit more cash in and see if I can find something like a VX220. Always fancied one.
In the meantime I’ll be looking for a cheap little MX5 or possibly an early MR2.
