	I’m currently in the market for a compressor, I know the one I want to buy, but there’s not a chance I’d want to buy it knowing I could get the VAT knocked off it, but does anyone on here work for machine mart, or have any inside info as to when the next VAT free day could be? I asked them, but they said they don’t release the info until right before the event. It’s just so I had a rough idea when I’d be able to get myself one, as sooner rather than later would be nice! Thanks

	I had a vat free email this week. it finishes this weekend.

	Literally everything machine mart sell can be bought for a far larger saving that 20% from other suppliers.

	I think the vat free days differ from shop to shop, so you local one will send you the flyer or email and its only relevant to that location. Could be wrong but that's the way I understand it.

	I get a discount card for the store I use (Cambridge) twice a year BUT It not vat free anymore it works out to about 17% on there stuff 10% on other brands and in the small print it doesn't include some items And the items it doesn't include is generally the more common larger items So things like compressors I got stung on a £400 heater I did get 5% off in the end but that was down to the store manager So your probably better off shopping around online
