Can anyone recommend someone or somewhere who would be able to build an electronic speedo into an old gauge face.
I have googled but I am not seeing anyone who can do this ! surly someone can.
Regards
James

Depends on what you want to do with it I guess. Input type and pulse count would be a start.
There are companies that will do this, like speedhut and classic instruments.

They did make me a one off Smiths electric speedo to match my Jag gauges, but it took quite a while to get done (6months iirc)

My Dad has used them occasionally over a period of 4 decades for 50's 60's vehicle instrument calibration & parts, his experience has always been very positive. I'm guessing they're the UK market leader in this niche. Despite still using 'London' in the company name they've been in South Wales for some considerable time, (actually not far from where I live).

I believe they took a turn for the worse when the original owner sold up. I beleive it is CAI gauges that are the current owner(?). There are numerous threads online about horrific turn around times. My speedo is still plagued by intermittent interference even when connected as suggested by them

Why do you need to change the speedo?
If it's because your gearbox doesn't have a cable drive, google "cable x".
