	I feel like the Retro rides Monte Carlo correspondent as I post pics of the start each year. For the 9th year the classic rally has left Scotland and this time it was on the campus of Clydebank college where it was held in 2012. don't have much more jibba-jabber on the subject so I will get on and post some pics. 	And for a blast from past - Very good fellow Jowett owner has long wanted to retrace the route that he took from London to Cortina in the Monte Carlo Classic Rally that he undertook in 1988 / 30 years ago and realised the dream in September 2018 en-route to Switzerland Not only the same route but in the very same car (that he has owned for 52 years)

	Just to let you all know I have not neglected my duties as the Monte Carlo correspondent for Retro Rides. Wednesday last week was the 9th Scottish start for the rally and after a few years in Paisley and Clydebank the start was back in Glasgow city centre. It was a really horrible night weather wise but I got there for 4pm to get pictures while it was light and I managed to hang about until the last car left the ramps at about half 8.
