Hi, I don’t know if it’s the done thing or not, but hello. I’ve been lurking here on and off for years, checking out the reader’s rides, enjoying the variety of cars and the efforts that go into them. I spent much of Sunday enjoying the Estafette thread, which has finally made me break cover.
I”m lucky to have an old car, but often old car weather is also motorbike weather, so it doesn’t come out of the garage often enough. I also have what you could charitably call an eclectic collection of car bits (or tat, to any sane person) that I hope to gradually move on to an appreciative home - I’m at that stage of my life when it’s dawning on me that I’m going to have to live to a phenomenal age to finish all the projects I lined up in my youth!
So that’s me. Thanks for having me, maybe I’ll bump in to some of you some time - Caffeine and Machine are just down the road from me.
Cheers, Boxerfan65.

Hello, welcome to RR! What car do you have, any pics? Thanks! I dabbled in Heralds for years, before seeing the light about 10 years ago, cashing in the Herald and a crappy ISA fo buy the closest I could afford to my dream car, a 911 2.7RS. They have been crazy money for a while, but pretty sensible cash bought me a fairly lived-in 2.4T, the humblest of the 1972 911 range. Once I have figured out how to post pictures, I’ll put one up.

Welcome, What car do you own? Thanks. An SE5a was a dream car for me, a while back. I ended up with a Mk2 Vitesse instead. Air cooled German now though...

In my experience the easiest way to include pics here is to be in 'desktop' mode (bottom of the page is a tiny hyperlink that toggles between 'mobile and 'desktop'version)
Then when you write a post, or edit a post, there's a button to upload pics. Not the pics icon button in the menu though, the button below the text input box.
Have your pics on your desktop. Screengrabs will do just fine, and upload them directly.

Mine's the Bahia Red one at the front. WwOOOOOOOFFFF Nice. 🙂 ta. It’s not as nice as it looks in pictures, many bits are a bit scruffy, but I quite like it. It absolutely hoses oil out of every orifice though, something I must do something about at some point.

Absolutely hoses oil you say? We should be friends.
Park next to me at the RR weekender. We may as well focus the clean-up into one tight area.
