No, really, I did. I set up a kickstarter, I successfully raised the funds and then with a lot of hard work, a lot favours and a lot of swearing at an old German car, we did it.
This is episode one of Not £2 Grand.
It's been viewed over 3,000 times in 48 hours, so we're onto something it seems. We've got two more shot and another four or five in the planning stages, so here's to this being a hit. Time will tell.
I'm sure it's not going to be for everybody, but hey, at least we tried. I it's just a case of wanting to give something back to the motoring community.
Enjoy!
Chris

I enjoyed that. Knew it would be good when in the first 10 seconds there was a childish Wankel joke! Great show and look forward to seeing more of them. When do we get the next one?

Lovely. You had me at Wankel (snigger) Surely that's a car programme though, not a car show?

As soon as you fitted that mirror I thought I hope that falls off when you walk away! Glad you didn't disappoint! Good effort fellas, hope it goes from strength to strength. Looking forward to the next one!

A great first effort guys but my interest started to wane at 8 mins.
I watch 2x shows on Youtube about cars. One where a guy goes round Copart in the US showing cars, what to look for, and shows him bidding and sometimes winning them, followed by the collection and rebuilding process.
The other is Tom Cotter and the Barn Find Hunter series. Needs no further explanation.
What the shows have in common is variety of vehicles.
If I'm not interested in an NSU I won't watch past about 10 mins.
Its just my opinion guys.
However, I thought you both did a good job of presenting but keep the show to 15 mins until you nail the content and then can increase the run time.
Wish you all the best and well done going for it, can only go from strength to strength!

An unusual and quite interesting little show. Great work for a first episode. From a viewer's perspective, the presenter to camera work is a little wooden but this is not surprising as it's the first episode - it will improve as you go along. Alex needs to smile more - I see what he's trying to do being the Mr Grumpy to Chris' Mr Enthusiasm but it came across as being disinterested.
I for one am looking forward to the next episode - this has potential and looks like it'll be a lot of fun. Well done guys.

Not at all bad for a first effort guys, I'd have been very happy if I'd paid £800 for that NSU. Cinematography generally pretty good; perhaps a bit more scripting / less winging it. Also over-long for content and the younger guy needs lessons in putting a seat belt on properly. Look at car programmes like SOS / Wheeler Dealers and see if you can use more from what they do, (like giving technical info & interesting facts about the car).
