Hi guys
Selling this on behalf of a friend who has inherited it due to a family member dying recently and he would rather it goes to a good home rather than be scrapped. As you can imagine it holds sentimental value to him and he did not want people coming him and picking it to pieces hence why I'm selling on his behalf (the V5 was put into my name at his request last week).
As per the title its a red bubble shape Rover 200 (1.6 petrol twincam K series).
V5 is now showing 3 keepers since ive been added.
Car is currently on 61,870 miles that is backed up by the service book and MOT's.
Paperwork / history contains all he has spent on it since he was the second owner including the bill of recipet from December 2001.
Service approx every 6000 miles going by the book and had the head gasket, thermostat etc all done in March 2018 (a few hunder miles ago) at a cost of £784.
Currently has MOT until October with advisories for brake pipe ferrules corroded, a front spring corroded and both front wings bubbling / corroded.
Ive driven it 40ish miles to my house so can list the small issues with it - slight steering wobble at 60mph and the steering wheel is slightly off centre when going straight, the blower motor does not work on speed two, the heater temperature adjust knob is loose / cable stiff and the factory radio does not seem to turn on.
Starts, stops and drives in a way that I imagine it did when it came out the showroom !
Engine, gearbox, tyres and brakes all do what they should and I see no need for any replacements soon.
Under the bonnet is spotless along with the alloy wheels, the front wings are bubbling and have corrosion along with the lips on the front of the rear archs. A couple of slats on the front grill are missing and the drivers headlamp looks to have been pushed back very slightly but is still secure.
I have plenty of pictures but in all honesty don't know where to host them these days as the last time I sold a car photobucket seemed to work !
Any inspection is welcome however a test drive can only be done up and down the street as its has no tax or insurance on it.
Currently its only advertised here as would like it to be either looked after or used to keep others going (although I don't think you will find a better one for the price).
