Right, this is a long shot.
I really need the pipes ideally by Wednesday or Thursday the very latest.
I need a set of new 2CV oil feed pipes. They go from the crankcase to both of the heads.
I was hoping to take my 2CV to Bicester next week, but that is looking very unlikely at the moment.
What have you got? If close(ish) to Warwick, I am happy to collect as well.

There is a place called Classic 2cv recycling in a place called Longworth about 6 miles south/west of Oxford . They have a facebook page and list stuff on ebay .

I shall give them a go. You never know, I may get lucky. I was trying not to go secondhand as they do have a reputation of fracturing ad destroying an engine. New ones are Cupro-Nigel as opposed to mild steel for this very reason. I have two spare pipes but both look as bad as what is on the car. I chanced on the ones on the car and failed .

I was a bit confused why you were asking people here , i thought you were after secondhand rather than new !
Your a bit screwed unless you want to drive a long way on wednesday or thurdays .

I guess I was hoping that on the offchance, someone had a spare set lying around for a rainy day and I could get a set quicker than through the usual suspects. But yes, I've come to that conclusion. Annoying really . There is a Pirtek-esque supplier near me. If they are open on Thursday and can make up a braided set on the same day, that may be my best bet, short of calling up ECAS or 2CV City on the 2nd January and begging them to send a set out pronto via Special Delivery. I'm tempted to risk one of my secondhand ones, but changing them if they fail will involve stripping down the engine cowling and thus the manifold again
