How far from the engine can my servo be? Building mid engine out of front engine car. Hope to leave servo where it is and connect with a stainless or ally pipe. Will that work? Cant see another way to do it. Any thoughts?
Don't see why it should be a problem. The servo body serves as a vacuum receiver anyway. You might consider adding a second NRV at the engine engine so your link pipe adds to the vacuum volume, but probably not important.

Not an issue , I had to run a 20ft hose from my van into the garage to test a clutch servo on my non running new build . Ran a pair of 6.5 inch remotes on my last midi car with bias brakes with 1/2 steel tube from front to back with no problems
