I really like these. I drove afew of them when i worked at a mg/rover garage, seem to remember the claim that they were so smooth you could stand a penny on the dash and it wouldnt fall over. Smoother than a Morgan, where they say that if you run over a penny you can tell whether it's head or tails.....

Welcome to the 75 club! Get yourself over to the Rover 75&MGZT forum, plenty of advice over there on what to do and what not to do... I have a 1.8 Connie SE (54) and just picked up a MG ZTT135+ diesel auto (56) for little cash but plenty of 'abuse'. Now has a 'wake up' remap to 160bhp......

If you look on the n/s B post there will be a plate with trim and colour codes. That will tell you the exact spec of car you have, although it looks like a Connie SE with cloth.

Especially on a 115 CDT, big difference.

Looks like this is going to be a love / hate relationship with this car.
I got the garage to replace the clutch master cylinder as the original was leaking.
On the way home from the garage I stopped at a local shop to discover that the drives door won't open from the inside and had to put the window down to open the door using the outside door handle.
Stripped the door panel off but the cable from the catch to the lock needs to be replaced. So Monday will find me at the local Mini and Rover parts department, hopefully they have the bit I need.
