Hi guys, long story short - I've got a slightly soggy B207R engine with corrosion in cylinder no.2; does anyone know the best place to get hold of a replacement liner?
There's some commonality with the Z20 series of engines, I believe? Slightly longer story; beware people selling engines "kept under cover". They may actually mean "kept under water".

Can't help with liner advice, but last year I went to look at an engine for my project. Seller said : it's a low mileage engine - was running great when we removed it. Has been safe under a tarp in the back yard for 30 years since. It should be fine. I'll let it go for £200 Me : errrm no thanks

This was a brand spanking new engine, zero miles, only outside for a month or two... should have been absolutely fine if it had ACTUALLY been covered! It was when water started pouring out of the sump when I tilted it that was the giveaway... at least half a litre in there. I guess that will learn me :/
