The chap sent me a message last night to say he will confirm by this evening at the latest when he can collect.
If he doesn't, the car will be back up for sale I will inform all interested parties.
It's the second time over the past few years someone has purchased one of my Jags from France - they must be fond of the brand over there, or there may be a shortage of spares, perhaps due to the loyalty expressed by French buyers to their own domestic products?

It is supposed to be picked up on 7th January, but I have not had confirmation as of yet. If someone can collect it by tomorrow evening, then it's theirs. I've waited almost a month, and even though I have been given a deposit, it's causing me inconvenience now and its in the way. Right folks.
To all those that were interested before, this is now back up for sale.
The chap from France did not turn up today, he has not responded to any of my eBay or text messages, so he can go fcuk himself. I've kept the car for over a month on the promise it would be collected today, but it's just been a waste of time.
I'm tired and fed up of being messed about by pricks on eBay - if you don't intend to buy, why the hell bid?
And to any one interested:
1 - Ensure you have the funds to pay
2 - Check you can get insured before leaving a deposit - any deposit received from now on, will be non-refundable
3 - Make sure you collect it by the agreed date, otherwise car will be put back up for sale and deposit will be lost
Sorry for the rant, but I've dealt with too many tossers and I won't entertain it anymore.
£700 ovno, it needs to go ASAP.

Back up for sale, with yet another time waster on eBay. That place is full of a55 holes, and eBay do nothing to regulate / vet users to ensure this does not keep happening.
£675, need it gone ASAP.
It is still MOT'd and Taxed, so can be driven away.
I'll leave the tax on until the Logbook is sent off, therefore new owner has a bit of flexibility to drive around without worrying about taxing it immediately.

Buys car for £500 on ebay, does no work to it, copies eBay ad word for word to sell for profit but ASAP. Love the optimism.

I’d say the eBay ad he ‘copied’ is actually his own from eBay where it sold several times to time wasters.

Still here, dealt with another time waster yesterday who stated his insurance was too expensive.
I don't get it, it's a running Jaguar with MOT (albeit with issues that need addressing) for less than £700, yet it's the most time wasters I have ever encountered over the past 15 years!

Update: car is now at my parent's place in Wellingborough, Northants, NN8 post code. It might be easier to collect from there for some people.
It drove 100 miles and got there with no issues. Sits fine at 70+ mph on the motorway.
MOT is until 22nd February 2019 and it is also taxed, with a quarter tank of fuel remaining.
Battery is getting a bit weak due to not being used, but starts fine with a jump and keeps running as long as is needed.
No leaks, no overheating and the cabin heaters work well and make the car feel like a sauna when on full blast.

£650, or nearest offer, but no p*ss take ones.
The number plate is worth around £400, the wheels (which are near-immaculate) sell for £350+ a set.
It would easily break for over a grand. but seems a shame to do that.
