Sounds fantastic! Never seen a petrol one here as they were all used on the farms. Drove one once, my first time off-roading, amazing off road for what it was, SWB diesel with almost no rear chassis legs left That would be desirable here in Ireland, becomes vintage at 30 years old so 56 quid a year tax instead of 1500

Yeah they really are cool 4x4's, it's a real shame it took a hit but shows how robust they are for off-roading and it wouldn't cost a great deal in getting it into one of the best examples or just using it for a daily like I did, it was great tbf, just not what I need now.
They all seem to go there, it does have surface rust from being used with underseal but it's solid, wants doing for longevity/peace of mind though.
That's a crazy price difference hey.

Pictures uploaded.
Been quite a lot of interest and I'm glad there are people who appreciate how rare and potentially valuable this could be, I know about cars especially JDM ones and this is exactly why I bought it as my daily.
It's a real shame there's a dent but like a say it has the basis to be one of the best examples out there and I hope it either goes to an enthusiast or someone who will use it everyday and appreciate it as I did.
Either way it's a good car and I won't be dropping on price by much at all- £2k as it is or £1.5k without the wheels, would much rather it go as one but thought if the wheels aren't to your taste then it makes it cheaper and I'd be prepared to sell them on separate.
Cheers Dave

Now on ebay. Had a lot of interest but still here.

Was meant to have been collected yesterday but turned out to be a time waster...
It's advertised for £500 more on ebay, willing to accept very near offer, fantastic jeep and with the few cosmetic jobs done it's potentially a £4k+ 4x4.

As said further up I'm happy to get it done for buyer if asking price is met, I've got no doubt it will fly straight through with nothing more than maybe a bulb needed.
If you look through it's MOT history it's only ever failed one.
Had a ball joint as an advisory on the last MOT and that's been done.

Nobody wants to buy a car without an MOT and they will always use this as a bargaining point. If you are serious about selling it then stump up the 30 quid for an MOT.

Mate if you're not interested don't comment- you're basing your opinion on assumptions and using them to make statements...
1)I've already suggested it as a bargaining point- including my price.
2)If someone is GENUINELY INTERESTED in buying my car and want it MOT'ing for peace of mind- like I've already stated I'm willing to put a years ticket on it if it's covered- I'm 99.9% certain it will fly through with no issues- I've nothing to hide whatsoever it's as honest as they come and I'd like to think I know what I'm buying so it wouldn't have been my daily for nearly a year if it wasn't- I spent ages finding it so I can assure you it will be better than most 30 year old 4x4's you've seen- I wouldn't have bought it other wise.
Yes it would help the sale, yes I will need to sort it if it doesn't sell but then I'll also adjust the price. Selling it isn't top of my agenda, I do want it to go but I'd rather it go as is- if not and I start spending money I might as well sort the dent give the chrome a clean up and put it on cars and classics for more, that's not my intention.
I've explained it clearly for potential buyers- not for your benefit because you're clearly not one of them, why you felt the need to waste your time and comment is unknown to me but do yourself a favour and refrain from posting a follow up please, it's a for sale advert not a discussion thread.
Cheers

There is no need to get all defensive here; Deano is only trying to help your cause and avoid 'timewasters'. FWIW I get the no-MOT thing. My Merc until the last MOT never failed anything. It still didn't stop me changing an SLS pipe (now a Dangerous failure; i.e a £2.5k find if caught on the road with the defect with recent changes which I've mentioned here, a misfire which only really was obvious when running. I did, however, pay much less than market value for it, which of course offset my risk . No one is trying to waste your time but merely aid you to sell it if that is your true intention . P.S Best of luck with the sale! It's not often you see these on the road now!

I'm not getting defensive ChasR.
It didn't look like he was trying to help, that's all.
He was pointing out what I'm already aware of whilst also making the assumption that no one will buy it without an MOT and that's not true.
I wouldn't be saying I'd MOT it if it goes for the asking price if I wasn't pretty sure it would pass and if it failed on anything it would be daft, which I would obviously rectify in order for it to pass before collection- but I'm giving people the chance to make a sensible offer, save me my time and get a better deal in the process.
As said if it doesn't sell, I'll get it done and adjust price accordingly.
No you don't, pretty much non-existent now hey.
Cheers.

Boringly still for sale- that's 10 ebay time wasters now, you couldn't make it up.
If it doesn't sell before Christmas I'm going to get it MOT'd and maybe even sort the dent and advertise it for £3k.
It's the best one on ebay and the cheapest... Hands down lowest mileage, rarest and best overall condition.
If someone actually came to see it they'd realise that for themselves, ah well.

Boring tbh.
I don't need advice, obvious points, pointless quotes or anything else.
This is MY for sale advert. If you're interested in buying the Pajero then ask as many questions as you like, if not then don't. it's not a discussion and I don't need people trying to tell me what to do with my car.
Like I've already said if it doesn't sell now with no MOT, I'll be left with no other choice but to get it done but then the price will also be adjusted significantly, anyone who's genuinely looking to buy should realise that this is why it's at this price and that they won't ever find another one this good at this price.

Boring tbh. I don't need advice it's not a discussion You have posted your ad on an open public forum where you will attract the attention and comments from fellow enthusiasts who are merely pointing out flaws in your marketing strategy.

They're not needed though so you're wasting both of our time
I'm not usually abrupt on forums but this isn't a discussion thread, it's a for sale advert and I've explained myself several times so unless you're interested in the car, which you're clearly not, jog on and save your comments for something more constructive elsewhere.
Just to re-iterate- you're not pointing out anything- it's not a flaw- it's the sole reason that the car is advertised for it's current price... If it had an MOT I'd be advertising it closer to £3k, what part of that can't you lot understand?
You've clearly got no concept of what "marketing strategy" I'm actually using so I've done you a favour and pointed out your own flaw.
Please make sure that's your last comment because you're cluttering my advert like the ones above.
Cheers.

About whatever.
Learn to read what I'm saying and you might learn something and refrain from posting generic wibblepoo that I'm already aware of.
You're the one who clearly can't read, not me mate, judging by your last username you got banned for having a habit of talking curse word on stuff you know nothing about/have no interest in buying.
This is the epitome of why the car hasn't sold, I've had nothing but morons either making offers or sending countless messages with no intention of buying.
CAPITAL LETTERS FOR ALL THOSE WHO OWN THE EXPERT "ARTHUR DALEY HOW TO SELL A CAR HANDBOOK"- THE REASON I'm WILLING TO SELL IT FOR THIS PRICE IS BECAUSE IT HAS NO MOT- THE BUYER GETS A BARGAIN (IT'S DONE LESS THAN 5K SINCE ITS LAST MOT WHICH IT ONLY HAD 1 ADVISORY AND THATS BEEN REPLACED), I GET A (SUPPOSEDLY) HASSLE FREE SALE. IF I RE-INSURE IT AND GET IT MOT'D I WILL BE RE-ADVERTISING IT FOR £3K TO COVER MY TIME AND EXPENSE AND PUT IT CLOSER TO THE VALUE THAT IT SHOULD ACTUALLY BE, WHICH WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEW YEAR- STILL A GOOD CAR BUT A HIGHER PRICE FOR A YEARS TICKET.
I'd rather it sell as it is but if not I'll MOT and get more, I don't need someone trying to state the obvious though.
