When a 2CV is just that bit too slow there is always the Kent camshaft and the 652cc barrely upgrade. When that doesn't fulfill your needs, you always have the BMW bike engine conversion! And if that's not good enough, well, there is another way:
Yes, that is a Ferrari engine in a 2CV!

I'm probably quite biased here so forgive me..
It is a nice creation, but not really a 2cv at the end of the day. The same goes for the spaceframed bike engined one that hillclimbs in the channel isles with a fibreglass 2cv body plonked over the top.
That's not to say I don't want to give it the beans but...

I'd like to think the BMW motor is the natural progression if you needed more than a VGS 720cc Citroen based kit, and crucially for me it doesn't upset the handling by being super weighty/nose heavy - I mention this for those thinking of a flat 4 or similar upfront.
