Been chasing this code around for a few weeks on my wife's Focus, and wondered if anyone had a different perspective that might help?
P2263 - Turbo / Supercharger fault.
Car doesn't seem affected in terms of the way it drives, in spite of the CEL being lit.
No obvious hose splits. Have replaced the vac pressure transducer and looked at the vac lines (seem ok, but difficult to access along whole lengths).
EGR replaced last year. Code reappears within fifteen minutes of being cleared.
Observations or suggestions welcomed...

Is the boost pressure sensor OK? Try cleaning it with some carb cleaner, does the turbo wastgate and VNT actuator work correctly and freely? You can try these by sucking on the lines that go to them and making sure they work. For the sake of £5 worth of silicone vac lines I'd replace the lot tbh. Is the DPF blocked?

Thanks, I put a new boost pressure sensor in.
Will get under it and take a closer look at the turbo...

Have now tested the waste gate and VNT actuator, they seem to work fine under manual vacuum from hand pump.
I did also test the vac from the engine at the pipe before it goes into the boost pressure sensor, and wondered if it seems low as it's only reading five inches at idle on my gauge. I was thinking it should be three or four times that amount - certainly I can get that with finger over tube pumping gauge manually. With engine off the brake pedal firms up ok after a couple of presses though.

It could be anything. It could even be a boost leak, which would make the turbo spool more so as to compensate, and then come up an a turbo 'overspeed' error. I know VCDS can log this data on VAGs, and it's not a P code but rather a brand specific code.
If it were me I'd get hold of Forscan or better diagnosing software. Those handheld readers IMHO can give you more wrong clues than right.

Further update: found an aged swollen silicone vac elbow not staying in place (replaced it).
Seems to fit with the observation that the engine vac seemed poor, as it was leaking. Light’s stayed off for today, see how it goes..

Thanks for the Forscan suggestion too.
