What a little beauty. If only I was given a crystal ball in my child hood I’d be a millionaire now! Or I’d just own loads of cool cars I know the feeling. About ten years ago I found a manual 1300 countryman, in white, just like the one in those pics, with about 15000 miles. He wanted about £1200 for it (modern car dealer, didn't have a clue about classics) I put a deposit on it only to get home and find my father was taken ill. I had no choice but to loose the deposit and the chance of owning the most honest and original car I could ever have owned. I don't know if a manual or auto is worth more, but it really was untouched and original. TBH it wouldn't have stayed that way for long. OEM+ GT spec would have happened. Very much so. Mind you, there would have been a lot of occasions where I could have used my crystal ball, I was around so much for so long.

I stumbled across this online, not for sale although you can hire it for weddings, etc. It's a unique creation, someone has used an ADO16 Morris Traveller as the base to fabricate a very handsome MG 1300 estate.

That is so awesome I'm just going to quote it and like my own post. MadgeOnly missing a full length sunroof for perfection! The estate has had the enthusiast Vanden Plas treatment as well; Just a thought, if you want a truly unique project, how about forging the first ever Austin 1300GT or Wolseley 1300 or Riley Kestrel estate?

THIS is half-way there! There's one exactly like that near me, I see it frequently and it looks like it's just used as a daily. Quite rough up close but still trucking along.
