my 10 year old gets his 2nd vw beetle then a polo
fionn og is his name, we call him TINY OR TINY OG , in IRISH FIONN OG MEANS SON OFF
so story goes he got his first car a beetle along side stephen his bigger brother , tiny was 4 stephen was 8 , we restored the car, body of resto .
last week a friend was asked by local pikes if they could have the polo laying in his drive , they where told to f off ,
i asked what they wanted , £100 scrapp value , 3 owners 53000 miles . so tiny bought it.
it needed an igination switch , £7 later on ebay deal was done .switch arrived and james cooke who sold it to him said he would fitt the switch . to find it is FAULTY ,
£5 of fresh petrol and it jumped to life .
needs 1 small patch on rear of ds floor 4 xx 4 inch sq no carpet set ,so need to get one ,
tiny was like a dog with 2 tails ;lol

most of the body will clean and mop up , then we l decide what he wants to do with it ,

sent a message to the vendor on ebay to see what they say , ill see if they will send another one , if not the hassel of claiming back . i hope it does nt come to that .

Fair few parts on these shared with caddy's, inca's and ibiza's of similiar ages so parts should be handy as to find. A bit of restoration on the paintwork now and you would hardly recognize her.

Think i've got a pair of boxed strut top bearings for one of these sitting on a shelf in the garage. I would think they are shared with the Ibiza of the same age. You can have them if you want, I will never use them and they are just taking up shelf space.

New well to day in went out and started to mop one side of the car to see if the paint would come to life . things stared well one side of roof ps , ps quarter panel ,,top of tail gate . it was then i felt the mop going funny so i turned it of ,just in time . the plastic stem of the mop head split .it stopped just before it flew of and could have hit me in the face , but have a look its coming uo ok    |

mop is fixed and where ready to do a bit more ,colour is making a big difference to the look of the car and tiny is happy , he started year 7 back in school too
