Reluctantly offering my Jaguar for sale on here, before I try the mayhem that is ebay!
Its a slightly scruffy 3.2 Sport, with just under 140,000 miles on the clock and its MOT expires in October. The engine is nice and strong, it has the later metal bodied tensioners fitted, and I recently installed new guides, a replacement timing case cover to replace one that was cracked, and a replacement crankshaft pulley as the rubber had started to fail on the old one. As a result you can give it some revs and not be scared that its going to throw its chain... and the V8 growl when you do is rather addictive!
It rides great, the tyres are all in good conition with plenty of tread left. No knocks or rattles, no pulling off to one side and no fault codes showing, all in all its not bad mechanically. Body wise, it has a few good scuffs and scratches on the bumper corners and on the passenger door, and the lacquer on the front passenger side of the bonnet has started to cloud a bit.
Reason for sale = fuel bills. Its not a car built for tootling around the local area and I can't sustain its thirst doing journeys of a couple of miles where it doesn't get properly exercised. It is in everyday use though and will be until it sells, as despite the immense 20mpg thirst its a nice solid dependable old bus.
The price reflects what it owes me in sorting the engine, and its slightly scruffy condition.
