Really pleased it rewarded you with a trouble free long drive first time out. Shows how all the little extra repairs you carried out and your attention to detail paid off. You have put many of us to shame with your progress over the last couple of months.

The car looks very nice and good to hear it did the trip without issues Always good to have a spare engine, especially such a good one. And its better to search for it when you do not need it so you have the time to pick up a bargain. A few years back i bought a spare Rover V8 for Euro 250.- including fuel injection. Was allowed to fake of the heads to inspect the bores which were very nice. Sold the fuel injection for Euro 90.- so basically had a good RV8 for Euro 160.-
You need to look for a warehouse to store all the cars and parts as the number is growing quickly

I'm not a huge rover fan at all (apart from the legendary P5B coupe and the SD1 which I would both really love to have myself). Something about the understatedness, the rather conservative styling and general blandness of most of their model range. Having said that, this bodystyle is one I can very much appreciate. To me it's possibly the best looking thing Rover made since the SD1. It's good to see it getting the love it deserves and it's no secret I admire anyone who upholds a great standard to their work, like you for one do.

I have already sent a load of photos to a prospective buyer and awaiting to hear what he will offer me for it I don’t really know what’s it’s worth now?

Well that was a short and sweet affair. The car is now with a new owner. Sad to see it go, it was a good fun car and hopefully will be looked after.
