Just an ongoing project I started 23 t bucket Rover 3.5 v8 Wade r034 blower Holley carb Rear axle is volvo 240 Front is off an ldv van and will be a Suicide front end when I get round to it 14” spoked front Dunlop wheels Tears will be 21 inch, ignore the old bmw alloy Above is the engine I started with, I just fancied building something with a v8 and after a bit of fettling it started to look proper.

I like this build already! The M3 wheels doesn't look terrible out of place actually. Turtleback or pickup at the back? Neither, there was a pickup bed but I aren’t using it, I like them with just a fuel cell mounted behind.

The chassis is off a 27t, it came up cheap, I don’t know what’s with the front mount, it’s really high up, it must have been really low to the ground whatever it was built for, I’m probably gonna have to cut that out and bring it closer.

That's why it's familiar! I've been looking at buying something pre-war and AS's were on the list. Late 30s 12/15/17hp model like this one?

That looks class. I suggest you build a chassis though. Have you fixed the position of the radiator and grille yet? I think it looked better in the earlier pictures with it closer to the engine, behind the axle. I do like the fact that you're using something other than a Ford style grille.
