Just acquired a very cheap Ital van completely out of the blue, my misses phoned me at work to ask if I wanted a van as her friends dad was getting rid and she even offered to pay for it as a birthday present
Fingers crossed my photos load as I’ve not tried since the photobucket incident

I have a bit of a dilemma as to what I should do with it as I’d like to lower it get some decent wheels and do something with the awful pair but I already have several cars so might have to just get an mot on it and sell it on

13x7 on front 13x8.5 on rear ive still got two of them in the loft i had to buy 3 of the rears and three of the front so still got one of each only problem. ive never been able to find any more of them to make another set. longer wheel studs mk1 escort up front and some american long ones on rear if i remember right. 2 inch blocks on rear lowered on splines at front cant remember how many, i also raised the engine only about an 1" these have low sumps, any more and you would have to cut the body. if you end up doing anything with it give me a shout if you need any pointers i have loads of pics somewhere think there on photo bucket so bit of a pain to get to.

This is a 575? They came in two different weights 440 and 575. 440s have 4x3.75" marina pcd but the 575s have 4x4.5" which gives you loads of interesting wheel options, mainly from Japan. They are really pretty simple things to modify lowering blocks on the back and the front has adjustment ready to go!

mine was 4x114.3 pcd aswell i did try a few sets of wheels before i got the revo,s. if i remember rightly alot of the wheels i tried did stick out past the wheel archs on the front. some pentas i tried you can get some movement on front with the adjusters wound down i ended up lowering it at front by moving the front wishbones on the splines on the torsion bars so the adjusters still sat in there original place then final adjustments to level out where done on adjusters

Looks great. Would love a retro van, as usual no room for it.

Rare old beast.
Can I suggest that you lower it over a set of banded Marina TC steels. Fabulous!
