I have some old wheels like these. I want to build something like this. images (1) by quickrack, on Flickr But I need wheels with bearings in them to mount them on stub axles. Unless there is a way to do it without great expense?? Wiser heads please advise me?

Could you get some bearings that fit within the centre hole and make up a couple of discs with holes that line up with the bolt holes to clamp either side of the wheel/bearing? Or maybe a bearing plate from something that can be cut down and attached to the bolt holes....
Maybe cheaper and easier just to keep an eye out for a set of fronts on ebay for the right price...

could you make a plate to bolt to the wheel and press a bearing in, essentially a hub to mount to the wheel and then the axle the same way as a kart wheel?
