I suppose they're not beefy enough to be used as crucibles and too small to make sense as air receivers. You'd have to spend a fortune on fittings if you want to connect a bunch of them, buying a broken compressor or a used tank off eBay would probably be cheaper.

They are Heavy and is about 1 liter. I suppose if used as crucibles, when they go through heat cycles a few times they'll start to flake and weaken rapidly; possibly good enough for one-off casting use though. 1 Litre is no use for air receivers in my opinion. Try a different scrapyard? |

I would just stick a job lot on Ebay collect only 99p, be specific IE on a pallet can be FLT loaded must be collected show times etc, just be certain they have no pressure and keep any paperwork or you may have the trash police on your back
