Hi,
I have inherited a Bond Equipe GT4S rolling shell. Looking to shift it, I do not really know anything about it but can answer some simpler questions and send more pictures. If interested then viewings are welcome, you would need to collect the car as I do not have any means of transporting it.
Kind regards
Guy

Hi Guy,
I've moved your post into the 'What's It Worth' section as you don't have an idea on price. Posting some pictures would be really helpful, as would a location.

You mention rolling shell, does it have the V5 for the chassis? This would massively affect the value

Because of where you have made this post it's unclear whether you are; a) Advertising the car. b) Seeking advice on value. If you're advertising it, you need to re-post here; forum.retro-rides.org/board/57/cars-sale-1985-olderWith location and price details. If you're after an idea of value it would help if you could provide as much detail as is known to you along with some photos.

It was in the Cars for sale section, but the lack of price and the fact that he didn't know anything about it (suggesting he had no idea of value rather than he had merely forgotten to add it to his post) suggested it would be better placed here.

There's very little information to be had on this car from the DVLA, only that it was first registered on the 10th of March 1966. In its time the Equipe was a good looking car with a decent turn of speed.
They're still sought after but sadly that doesn't equate to particularly high values. It's had a fair bit of work done by the looks of things but there is still a lot to do including the priciest work. Lack of log-book / V5 will be a nuisance. If you're interested in an opinion on value I'm guessing £2K ballpark as is, the value would decrease if any parts were missing or damaged.

Thanks MkX, that's super helpful and confirms what one of my friends has told me also! Thanks very much!

I used to own an Equipe GT4S and was a member of the Bond Owners Club during my ownership - you could try contacting them, they are very keen to keep these cars alive. Values for these cars are surprisingly low given their rarity. The value of yours will depend on how solid the chassis, bulkhead, floorpans and a-pillars are. Also I notice from the pictures that the original Les Leston wood rimmed steering wheel and the Microcell seats are missing (unless they are in a box somewhere). These are quite rare and collectable items. Also, I can't see an engine in the photos - if it has the original engine that will help it.
Some years ago I sold my Equipe as a rolling project. It needed welding on the chassis, sills and floor pans. I had replaced the windscreen surround and completed welding on the A-pillars. The doors were repaired with new steel and mechanically I did an awful lot of work including rebuilding the brakes, rebuilding the carbs and so on. The Microcell seats were still present although the engine had been changed for a (rather lovely sounding) 1.6 Triumph straight six. I got about £400 for it, which I thought was a fair price given the amount of work left to do on it. This was about 4 years ago but I don't think values have changed much since then.

Also, I can't see an engine in the photos - I can, (masked by a bit of green tarp type stuff). I'd agree with the Bond Owner's Club suggestion although it looks as though you'd have to join the club in order to advertise in their mag?
