Kapri. Thanks for that explanation, the points about Morris thousand convertibles being particularly interesting. It does give the impression to me that alot of the test is just made up as it goes along, the tester just choosing the appropriate rule from their book to back up his decision. Got it in one. They have no rules - they make a decision and stick to it to cover their ar5es even if it's wrong.

It isn't a test these are simply the criteria an office bound decisioon maker will use , initially to review a V627/1 form and photos that are requested and then ,possibly, a follow up vist from SGS who inspect on their behalf . I've had to BEG for an inspection before to prove a office guy had misread / misunderstood the photos !!
