Here I have for sale my beloved 1988 Mitsubishi Colt GLX. It has a 1.5L 4G15 engine in SOHC 8v configuration with a carburetor. Car is the rarer 3 door version with the pop-out rear windows. Has electric adjustable wing mirrors (Adjustable glass positioning, not folding. The mirrors do not fold) and front electric windows. No power steering. I bought it May 2011 off it's original owner who bought it when he retired, so I am the 2nd owner from new. It currently has 36,000 miles. MOT ran out June 10th 2017, car has been sitting since then. Had new front section of exhaust fitted and carb tuned back September 2016 at the cost of over £200. Car has done less than 100 miles since that was done. Not once had a problem with this car. Never broken down on me, always been a reliable and trusty car and loved it to bits in the years I've driven it. I've put this car on here before and always had people jumping at me ready to buy it but every time I hesitated to sell it as I love it to bits, but it's time to get real that I have moved on. It's a shame to see it wasting away unused due to my own selfishness. Plus we could do with the drive space! Hoping it can go to someone who can appreciate it and treat it well. Negatives are a bit of rust appearing on the near-side sill (pic below). It's not rotted at all but worth noting. Handbrake needs adjusting as lever has no reserve travel, but still holds fine. Needs new tires. As noted car has no MOT and tires definitely aren't legal, they are just on there to get it rolling. Can't be driven home. Interior is super clean condition and super comfy. The backseats have barely ever been sat in. Car is situated in Dover, Kent. Price considers low mileage and rarity of car, offset by the fact it's been sitting and needs a little bit of TLC to get it on the road again. I really do not want to budge far from this price. Looking for £300 or nearest serious offer. I was getting clear offers of 850 when I was trying to sell it in roadworthy condition before, and it sure won't cost 550 quid to get it on the road again. These are older pics from when it was on the road just to tempt you in. Here are more recent pics:

Looks good mate and surprisingly cheap. Maybe an under appreciated classic in the making . I'm a Mazda 323 lover , otherwise I'd of had it off you. Good luck with the sale 👍

Still available. Many messages recieved, many missed potential sales. Sorry those that messaged me that I never got back to in time, I've been busy lately.
AS a note: I want to sell as it is. If I had an MOT on it, I'd be selling it for way more than what I am asking for right now, so 300GBP is bottom line what I'd accept. Either accepting 300GBP or it's going in storage.
Preferably cash on collection.
Just think when one of these will be up for sale again!

Is this a 5 speed gearbox. Just love the back end of it.
Does anyone have an idea of how much it would be to deliver it back to the Midlands.
Cheers
