Ye no problem, hope it helps. You're right of course as I normally have build threads on a dedicated forum to the 200sx so everyone knows the lingo. If anyone needs more info on what other Nissan models I used parts from please ask away. I'll go back through & do a bit of editing.

Got to admit I'm not a big J fan, so I'm a bit like @grumpynorthener in my ignorance, so thanks for the extra info.
Where, was I? Oh aye, I'm not a big J fan, but the quality of the build has got me hooked and it's bookmarked!

Good to see a UK spec S13 getting some proper love, as much as I love ratty missiles it's great to see a clean one. Arch tubbing is really nicely done too. Great build!

Sierra - here we go again! He has an illness, it's not his fault.

I prefer the es6 but think the es8 will look better. Not that my opinion holds any weight.

Then the work on the engine bay began.I ordered a 9" 180 degree harley Davidson arch from a custom bike shop on ebay & began cutting up my car!!! A mate of mine did a similar thing on his S14 200SX. He used a metal 200 litre drum. He cut it so he had a strengthening bead seam up the centre. How much did you pay for the Harley arch?

He used a metal 200 litre drum. He cut it so he had a strengthening bead seam up the centre. How much did you pay for the Harley arch? Arch was only £60. I looked at drums but I didn't like the results. The bike arch is really thick & sturdy & gives a good clean finish & a nice clean curve on the inner edge.

Oh and another thought, your America sourced headlights, would they be for a left hand drive car? If so they will project the beam pattern the wrong way and you'll dazzle on coming cars. Loving everything else. Nice attention to detail.

Loving everything else. Nice attention to detail. They offered both options which I added in my order form. Nothing specified on the packaging when they arrived so I'll have to wait & see when it eventually gets an mot. I appreciate all & any feedback so any points of view or opinions are always valid.

I have always wanted to drop an Alfa or Maserati V6 and transaxle in one of these - it would look incredible through the hatch window. May still do it one day.
Love what you have done so far.

Good work on this, wouldn't have done anything different myself! Which ratio diff do you have in it? At the moment it's the standard s13 lsd from my original auto chassis. Eventually want a Kaaz 2 way. Might try & get skyline R33 gtst diff & drive shafts.

What a fantastic project. Will definitely be following this one. Can’t believe how much you’ve accomplished in just 4 days!
Another car on my “probably missed the boat now list” is an R33 Skyline.

Thanks chap. Yep it's easy when you know how!!! I've had a few R33's & the last one I sold was 2 years ago for £3.5k. It was immaculate & well modified. In the current market about £9k. For some reason 90's jdm has gone boom.

Think it’s just cars in general Ian. I can’t believe the money some cars fetch these days - it’s insane!

Small progress & a big delay. Finally fitted the passenger seat this week. I'm really pleased with the drivers position & seat base height. I'm 6ft & sit in it very comfortably. No pics yet but I've also fitted 1/4 turn dzus fasteners to the side of the front bumper & I've modified the front hanger to be quick release. Purely for towing & access to the radiator fans & intercooler if it's ever needed. I also bought this puppy, I've already marked & drilled the holes for the aero catches so I'll template this up & fit it when it arrives. Hoping to get a carbon bonnet soon but can't justify £1k on a panel at the moment.

Big delay, went to my tuner to find out when I'm going in for the custom looms & link G4 ecu management. I was meant to be in over Xmas but he was still finishing a build on a datsun 280z with a turbo 2.5 skyline engine & another 200sx with an engine conversion. At this rate I'll be in around easter!!
