Just a bit of fun or embarrassment to wind away the cold winter nights Whats the story behind the name, pray tell! Clearly it would be rude not to kick start it off with an explanation of mine! Nowt to do with cars or bra's I'm afraid but the chunky bit is easy to work out as I have a wee beer belly at the front (Does get in the way when getting in an old series or 90 landy!). The "bra" part refers to a bit of Xhosa slang for a good friend/mate/bud so I suppose it was a nicer way of calling me a fat git. Had the name for around 20 years

Started with this sticker... Which I found oddly amusing: "Nippy and silent like a weasel - Mitsu Turbodiesel" and because I like my diesel, and weasel rhymes with diesel... So that's that.

Mine isn't exactly difficult... Many years ago I got into a bit of a slanging match with a troll on a VW forum about hiding behind screen names. I'd always used my first name and to make a point I changed to add my surname too. Been like that on every forum for over 10 years. Couldn't add spaces or capitals on here, and the s is my middle initial. Not that interesting!

I used to smoke serious amounts of cannabis. When i was a lad , First started smoking , there was no Leaf/ Bud ...etc , it was all solid stuff (late 80s) There were many Code names for it Blow ... being a name of choice for our Village at the time I seemed to nearly always finish of the spliff . . . so got stuck with Blower

Rebuilda - That seems to be all I do to all of mine, rebuild them. Started as the obvious play on words as I used to make working stuff from 'scrap', laptops and PC's from scrapped ones, working cars from near scrapped ones seemed a logical progression. On the issue of 'hiding behind aliases', I use my full name on some forums where I need to be known. Rebuilda is half the length, half as much typing so I guess it's pretty much laziness.

For some very strange reason I chose vertex for this forum after my Aristo vertex edition
Strange because on all other forums I'm (Rock on) a name I've had since the days of cannon & ball.... Rock on Tommy.
I should really change it to the latter.

Hi, Mine comes from my name and my passion. 'col' from Colin - 'ne' as in any - 'rov' from Rover. neilsdavies there's a lot to be said for screen names least of all to stop identity theft, yours is your name where you live and part of your DOB. it wouldn't take much to find the rest if you know where to look. Weed or oil was a rare treat. Thems were the days.

Can't remember where it first got used, but it started as the mrs first name (Sarah) + mine (Kieran) for sarkie, then I kinda took is over as I'm a sarcastic b*stard anway :-) Just slapped 83 on the end for the year of birth.
Gamer tag is Casual_Obs as I was pretty much always the first to die when playing C&C/Red Alert. When that happened, you became an observer for the rest of the game and it would say Casual Observer in the top left!
