Ok so this is a slightly strange one! My mother in law has a fascination with car rear lights so my wife has decided that we need to make her a 'spot the car rear light book' like a bird spotting book where you have a picture and a white box to tick when you see it. So I need to find at least 64 images of rear lights preferably at night with maybe little hints to what the car but nothing too random or obscure as it has to be fun and achievable ish that she could see on uk roads. I want to make it quite random and so far I have
FORD FOCUS GOLF GTI SAAB 9-3 XC90 FIAT 500 E60 BMW PUG 106 FORD RANGER SUPRA KUGA NISSAN GTR ASTON MARTIN VULCAN (GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE) MG MIDGET IMPREZA TRANSIT MERC GLA SCIROCCO JENSEN MK2 ESCORT MASERATI 3200 LOTUS ELAN SD1 ROVER
All ideas welcome Cheers

I think this is quite a fun idea. There is a problem though. None of this is cohesive. I want to make it quite random and so far I have -LIST OF COMPLETELY ORDINARY CARS HERE- I'm not saying there shouldn't be normal cars, or decrying moderns again or anything, but if she's a buff, make it buff. i remember my "I spy" book, or something like that, that had lists of cars to spot out on the roads. When I was little we did loads of driving, thousands of miles, and my book was chock full of ticks against Peugeot 309s and Sierra XR4is. But I never saw a Bugatti EB110 or Vector W10. What I'm saying is, decide on what level to pitch it at (her), and work from there. (As an aside, we travelled that much that by about 10 years old I could tell what car was driving towards us at night just from the shape of the headlight (in my eyes). Can't do that with projectors now though!)

She is in her mid 60s and its just a bit of fun, the list so far is ordinary cars as most of them have some sort of meaning to her but i wanted to add pics that some members on here might have that are more natural and more interesting than just me using google images.
A super geek edition would be very cool though

You could crop this, genuine Scirocco 16v. I believe these rear lights were used on an 80's Aston Martin as well!

You need a Marina. At her age she'll remember when there where thousands around. You can use this photo of mine. Or to challenge her this is my other car.

So, if I would make a back side photo of our BMW e39 (2000 model 528i), Delica and Hiace with the brakes on would that be of any help?

100% on the Maserati freshandminty, that Jensen Balmy is awesome and are dog was called Jensen so its on the list! The E39 bmw wont be on it as I lost a load of money on one in the summer but I do see a lot of delica about so a pic of that would be great rblote.
To open it up a little I m planning on taking her to Beaulieu motor museum so the mk2 Rothmans escort is on, my all time fav!

This is the pic that started the idea and why the Aston is in, I took it at Goodwood this year and it made her confess to her weird obsession.
