Good points:
Appreciating retro classic, low miles for year and completely standard apart from exhaust.
Sought after 1999 model so has revised engine, 4 pot front brakes and avoids CO2 based car tax robbery.
Drives well with no clutch judder, flat spots or obvious engine / transmission issues.
Clean interior with no rips / tears.
Air con doesn’t just need a re-gas it still works fine.
Good service history & just had oil & filters service.
All electric bits (mirrors windows rear wiper etc.) all work fine.
Roof rails make it very practical.
Scooby sport exhaust makes a fantastic noise.
Ideal winter car.
Std. fit alarm immobiliser.
Bad points - being as open and honest as possible
Bodywork scruffy, both rear arches need attention (they all do that sir…) bonnet has been badly resprayed at some point and various bumps and scrapes all over but it is 18yrs old.
Small oil leak from drivers side cam cover
Suspension bushes on rear roll bar tired
Cam belt due for replacement due to age (£300 at a specialist including tensioner)
Tyres all legal but non-branded.
Scooby sport exhaust makes a fantastic noise which your neighbours might not love as much as you do…
