I bought the Audi from a fellow RR member back in March, here's the original advert. with all the details.
We were doing a garden project at home moving stuff that I didn't want to put into my cars, so picked this up. It has been great for what we needed, but it has sat since being MOTd in July and the insurance runs out today so it is time to go. I'll move it to Gerrards Cross (10 mins from M25 J16 / M40 J2) today so it is off the road.
I took it for an MOT in July and drove it that day and the next and since then it has been parked up, covering 100 miles since the MOT date, it will need at least one new spring for the next MOT.
Since I've had it I've really done nothing to it, replaced a rear tyre that had a slow puncture with a used one that had 6mm, added some new over mats, steam cleaned the front seats(my wife refused to drive it when her car was being serviced before I did) and that's about it. Actually my wife ended up doing about 2,000 miles in it - took it from Bucks to Lowestoft then to Brighton and back to Bucks over four days one time. When I collected it and drove it home (all motorway) it did 54 mpg, and on a mixed run was around 40 mpg. The lowest I got was 32 mpg when I took it into central London.
I charged the battery at the weekend ahead of starting, it didn't start straight away but a couple of sprays of Easy Start and it fired right up. It will probably need new glow plugs to be a reliable winter starter. The coolant and handbrake lights flash constantly, but no overheating or braking problems.
I paid £300 so it is up for the same, it might help someone out for a while?
