	Hi all , Got a question on requirements : Found a car in the Netherlands (NL) which was imported into the NL but is not registered there - still has US paperwork. I want to bring it to the UK to be my personal vehicle. It is a 1973 model. What are the rules on importing to the uk? (normal question i guess but a bit unique) Do I bring it in as an import from the US or NL? Will i need to pay taxes etc to HMRC ? any help appreciated thanks

	This is a tricky one. It may be worth looking into whether the taxes have been paid. If they haven't you will have the NOVA to pay on it before you consider registering it.

	thanks for the reply - i will confirm with the seller. don't want to spend a fortune trying to import it so will be doing it all myself hopefully.
