So had someone coming down to pick it up and lo and behold I can't find the keys, they may be in the car but unlikely, it's a single old skool basic key like a Yale one.
How do I go about getting in to the car and making a new key?!!
Thanks in advance

The usual solution is to break a window (normally the cheapest/easiest to replace) but on an older Yank motor that may not be a good idea!!
Is the boot locked? Can you open it and undo the back of the rear seat from within the boot.
Then of course there is the bent wire coat hanger trick.
Or if the locks are worn you could just try a selection of keys and hope that you can find one that will open it.
Once in there, if you remove one of the lock barrels a locksmith should be able to cut a key for it.

The plastic strapping you get around parcels etc will get you in.

The plastic strapping you get around parcels etc will get you in. This thread is old and was bumped by an advert. I should imagine the OP has dealt with his lock issue by now.
