I was going to take my SIMCA 1000 Rallye 2 and brother Kev his SIMCA 1200S coupe. The original publicity said 'just turn up'. We've checked this week and car numbers are limited, exhibitors having to apply for a pass. We've obviously left things too late as website says 'full up'.

Yep, was a cracking show - although I completely missed the car park with the trucks etc. in it - not entirely sure how that happened! Have to admit that I do love a good steam powered vehicle too....

The trucks, tractors and a lot more cars were in a car park across the road below the one where our SIMCAs and the line of Mk3 Escorts, the beach buggies and the Karmann Ghia were. First time we've been there. Will definitely do it again.
