The car appeared to be in very good pre accident condition You are buying the whole car minus the shell, plates and V5, these items cannot leave our premises The car must be stripped onsite, you can be present while this is happening and can help if you wanted too, bring your own tools but we have fitters and various tools onsite if you get stuck. Viewing in Wellington, Somerset £2500 ono

Not wishing to question your valuation, what is the details/spec of the mini as on the face of it that seems to be a lot of money for a big pile of parts?

Try looking for a cooper engine, only 1 online is £1010 on it own with no recorded mileage, then the full interior is worth that again, then try looking for prices of coopers on the road. This is a genuine Cooper, not like the hundreds of others with Ebay sticker kits If no one buys it i will break it and make £3-4k quite easily, however it be a shame to have to destroy it, everyone keeps going on about saving cars so here is the opportunity!

I can see both your points. The value of the parts are easily worth the £2500 that's asked, but if you look at the sold prices of later on the road Mini Coopers on eBay, you can pick one up for £3000 easily.
P.S. "thebacon" you could do with posting some more photos in your add. What does the damaged side/interior look like?

At least two better coopers for less on ebay .

The engine isn't worth a grand. 1275s go for 500-600 at the moment. I think you'll end up breaking it at that price but good luck regardless.

Like I said, it wasn't a dig at the price, but more details would be useful. What is the miles/history on it, is it rebuilt or tuned? What is the spec of the interior? As it looks like it's been rolled I assume the suspension and the passenger side wheels are bent. Plus as it's a cat b, and as you state the buyer won't be having the shell or ID it's getting broken for spares what ever.

Break it yourself buddy and list all the bits separately and you'll clear it Unfortunately i wouldn't use eBay for a valuation, Some things can stay on the high side for months and never sell. All the best with the sale though.

Porsche loads more pictures on Ebay, its just tinypic kills my computer at work as its a slowmo old one, i have a new system ready to go in once we have our new accounts system setup so wont be an issue in the future.

I was going to break it anyway, just thought i would sell in one piece first for some quick cash, i have about 300 other cars i am breaking so i will make the cash back slower

I'm probably being thick here but if it's for sale as a cat b then it's getting broken anyway, the car is being destroyed whoever buys it??? The insurance company decided that when they paid out???

It is cat b but all the parts can be reshelled, so in essence whoever buys it is going to have half a cooper, its irrelevant now as i am going to break, i have had 8 more cars in so my focus has moved on

This is the ideal thing for me but the price is no better then if I bought all of the parts removed and delivered to me.
I stripped a car like this at u-pull and cost me 700 in total.
I've bought complete mpi mini breakers with rust but no damage for much less than your asking price.
I can understand why you've decided to strip it yourself

Its no problem i am buying 25 cars a week and we have over 200 in stock at any one time, so it can sit there til it sells, i know the engines make 7-800 as a Mini specialist told me he sells them for that, i am open to offers.
