I've got a pair, they have been repaired, but are solid. Bad points are is they have been rollerpainted green (not the worst job tbh) and the inner window rail has been flattened over so sliding windows can be used, so would need unflattening or a new rail welded. Can get pics if interested ?
I had both doors for my 87 rebuild from him. Cannot fault them. Can get the mk3 doors you need for £239. He normally has plenty in stock. This guy has been providing sorted mini doors for many many years and knows exactly what needs doing. He even reinforces the common areas that crack around the hinges in the frame (common on mk3 doors as they were for a time made by a different company who used fewer spot welds, hence the cracking) Very well packaged when he sends them out to you, all you need to add is paint
