I admit it, I am the world's worst hoarder. This is why I have decided to get rid of yet more goodness in my possesion.
So, let's get the ball rolling. First up is rare gem from what was once a great name in the audio world. A Precision Power Pro8 8" flat piston subwoofer. This also comes with the manual and a box as well. £20 will take this. SOLD
Kenwood KRC-778R CD Player. This HU is from around 2000. It stopped working about a year ago. It makes a noise but it doesn't turn around . It is a flip face unit that goes black, as if a HU blanking plate is there. I'll offer this out for the price of postage or collection for a beer at RRG :
This HU I am still in two minds about selling. It is probably one of the last Non-F1 Status Alpine units made that were superb and incredibly flexible. It is the Alpine CDA9887R. So, what's so good about it?
-It does fully active crossovers (You don't need passive crossovers for your components or a separate active crossover wired up ; this does all of that, including the sub or a 3 way component system up front
-It has a good EQ
-It also does Time alignment, handy for if the sound comes like it is coming from one side of the car or the other ; it can centralise the sound stage superbly.
Also for sale is my Alpine BT-400 Bluetooth box, made in conjunction with Parrot. This can pair up to the above for an Alpine HU of this age. It can do the following:
-Bluetooth calls using the HU as the nagivator ; the HU has a phonebook etc.
-Bluetooth audio playback, handy for pair with your phone
-It can also take an iPod/iPhone plugged in (5s or later will require a 30 pin adaptor) and charge it and be controlled through either the HU or the device itself.
Being the Parrot version of this unit it is reliable and makes clear calls.
These still go for well over £100. I will do both the HU and this for £220 or the following:
-HU £130
-Bluetooth Module - £100. - I have a Siemens version (BT-300) which does the same as this but that i can sell for £30. It is however missing the microphone.
I can bring these to RRG as well.
